Dysfunctional Theatre Company

A Horse Trade and Dysfunctional Theatre Production

If ever a man had it all, it was FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. Political power. The respect of a nation. The ear of the president. And a mother who adored him. What more could a man want? Yes, he had it all, except for...love?

Horse Trade and the Dysfunctional Theatre Company present "Hoover: A Love Story. 8 actors perform 100 parts in 90 minutes in this scathing yet touching satire written by Paul Wells. This comedy looks at the close, personal 40-year relationship between legendary FBI leader J. Edgar Hoover and Special Agent Clyde Tolson. During their reign at the FBI, they toppled gangsters and controlled a government, shared a life and divided a country.

They were America's first Patriot Act.
