A rising young attorney, ADAM SHARPE is arrested when his girlfriend LINDSAY PARSONS, an eccentric concert pianist, is found unconscious in a pool of blood.  The authorities are convinced that ADAM is guilty of a violent crime and is  now in jail on trial for his freedom, while LINDSAY is placed in a mental institution on trial for her sanity.  As the facts of the case unfold it becomes evident that the couple’s masochistic games have gone too far, but less evident who is playing them.
