Welcome to The Lounge.
Back in the 1980s, it played host to the best and the brightest. For
a brief moment in time, The Lounge was where the fast-living, the famous
and the fabulous went to drink the best champagne, snort the best cocaine
and be entertained by the best no-name singers, comedians and dancers
you've never heard of; and never will. |

      Time has changed this legendary
lounge--until one night when the old guard and the new blood meet to
reclaim their place in the world and spark a whole new era of entertainment.
The Lounge features 10 production numbers, which use reorchestrated
karaoke tracks to give 80s era songs a new feel and sound. Some numbers
are part of the entertainment at The Lounge and others come from deeply
personal moments that give a glimpse into the thoughts and feelings
of the characters (but exist outside of the narrative reality). |

| In the
center of it all was former lip-synch champion Arby McFay--now the fearless,
ambitious Emcee who rules The Lounge and the lives of his cast: a lovesick
comedian, a fallen pop idol, assorted social misfits and two life-size
roaches who desperately want to be human. |
