Lauren Arneson (dramaturg/stage manager/production manager) Lauren started stage managing in 2004. This has lead her on many adventures around New York City, New Jersey, California, Texas, Illinois and Minnesota. Lauren is thrilled to be a part of Punk Grandpa, as she has been discussing concepts with Laura since 2013 or 2012.

Ken Coughlin (Bob (Punk Grandpa) Pohlmann) is an award winning actor who was most recently seen as Mr. Mercer (The Boss) in Adding Machine, The Musical. Other recent appearances include Ted the Department Chair in Racquetball, Tony Manzo in A Spanish Harlem Story, Dr. Anthony Sforza in One More Time and Ilya Ilyich Telyegin in Uncle Vanya.
Mitchel Kawash (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his New York debut! Originally from West Virginia, Mitchel attended Yale University, where he studied theater and sang with the Whiffenpoofs—the world’s oldest collegiate a cappella group. He recently completed his graduate training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
Bree Klauser (Ensemble) is glad to be brought on this creative journey with the cast and production team of Punk Grandpa. In 2014 Bree graduated from Brooklyn College’s BFA Acting program. Some unique and memorable roles here in New York include: Maurice, a psychopath, coke-snorting circus master in The Moyles Musical, Doris in Charles Mee’s Cardenio, Patsy Johnson in The Rimers of Eldritch, the Wife of Rip Van Winkle in Rip Van Winkle The Musical and a Drag Queen, Mae West, and a Cockney 1920s Bootlegger named Duke in the musical parody review Sex On Trial. She is also a member of Theatre Breaking Through Barriers (TBTB), and is a proud affiliate of Inclusion In The Art.
Rachel Ladd (Ensemble) is ecstatic to join the Punk Grandpa cast! Favorite roles include Hannah (One Night, regional tour), Velma (Chicago, Dean College), Joanne (Godspell, Dean College), and Hope (Save the World: Last Chance, Gallery Theater). Janie Martinez (director) is a model, actress, director, performance artist and costume designer. She was a featured actress in John Cameron Mitchell's SHORTBUS and Steven Shainberg's FUR-AN IMAGINARY PORTRAIT OF DIANE ARBUS. She has performed around NYC at various venues, such as The Globesity Festival and in the 365 Plays at the Public Theatre. She performs avant cabaret acts, has modeled for numerous publications, is the artistic director for Big Moves NYC and has toured internationally with her critically acclaimed one woman show, “Fat Chicks Go to Hell.”
Michael Pichardo (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of this year's FRIGID New York. He has an Associate's Degree in Performing Arts from Queensborough Community College. Regional Theatre Credits: The Favor (Chicago Fringe). New York Theatre credits: Tape/A Tiger in Central Park, Wildlife, The Skin of Our Teeth, Allie's Appendix, Twelve Angry Men, and Sex, Relationships, and Sometimes Love. He is a member of the Articulate Theatre Company and a freelance spoken word artist. His short film debut in JUDGMENT is now on Vimeo.
Laura Force Scruggs (playwright & producer) has been performing "Punk Grandpa" as a woman show for the past two years around Chicago as well as at the 2015 New York Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, Hammond Academy for the Performing Arts and the Elgin and Orlando Fringe Festivals. She is thrilled to now have it performed as a multiple character play. It was first performed multiple-character-style at the 2015 Waukegan Theatre Festival at Three Brothers Theatre and is now going to be a part of their regular 2016 season. She was the 2013-14 Internship Program Director for The Chicago Fringe Festival and is a Network Playwright at Chicago Dramatists as well as a member of The Dramatists Guild and The Playwrights’ Center.
Jake Scruggs (Executive Producer) Software architect/developer by day, executive producer by night and also sometimes early stressful mornings converting .wav files to .mp3 files but mostly and above all else the source of the funds. Bring money x solve problems = “Executive Producer” Jake Scruggs once taught H.S. physics at Maine East in Des Plaines, IL in case you have a vague feeling of familiarity about his face. He met his wife in an acting class when she had a much cooler last name which is now her “stage” middle name. Her real middle name is a terrible secret.
Rori Nogee (Choreographer) Choreography credits include the national tour of "It Feels Great!" (Sweet Youth Productions), the cabaret "Neurotic Tendencies," and East Meadow's musical theater C.A.P.E. program. Rori was also a Teaching Artist for Students Live, hosting workshops for the Broadway productions of "Rent," "Chicago," and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." In addition, she served as the assistant director/choreographer for The Follies at Madison Beach Club, a dance instructor for Vee Corporation(Sesame Street, Live! And Curious George, Live!) and as dance captain for the national tours of "The Wizard of Oz," "Come Back, Amelia Bedelia!" and "Rent" at the Charleston Music Hall. Rori is also an actress (Off-Broadway's "Showgirls, the Musical!") and writer. Thanks to Lauren and Laura for this opportunity!
