Second Wednesday of every month

Sketch Block is a two hour with intermission comedy showcase of the best sketch troupes in NYC. It's also a show that gives opportunity to for new troupes trying to break into the comedy scene & old troupes that have gotten lost in the club circuit. SB is now working with sketch writing students, by giving them a chance to put up their material in front of a live audience.
The crew & I are very excited to announce this fall we will be launching a podcast for "Sketch Block". It will be an hour long with interviews with: sketch troupes, sketch writers, producers, comedic music acts, sketch writing teachers & much more. Part of the hour will have the crew & I discussing hot topics & our review on sketch troupes. There will also be "Sketch News" with information on: where to promote your work, spaces to rent, how to start a web series, what new troupes are out there, what troupes broke up & etc. The philosophy for our show has & always will be, "To give sketch comedy an opportunity to be seen", so now let them be heard. - KL Thomas
